Get To Know Dr. Eva…

I was born and raised in Washington, DC and I am the fourth child of Nigerian immigrants.  It was at Weill Medical College of Cornell University that I realized my interest in Orthopedic surgery.  I went on to work as a full time Orthopedic Surgeon in a large multi-specialty private practice group in Alexandria, VA area for several years.

I have now shifted gears working primarily as a medical reviewer and contributor while I realize my dream of developing a shoe company that will produce beautiful, orthopedic focused shoes for the modern-day woman.

Given my cultural background, I have traveled internationally to broaden my knowledge of health care delivery in developing nations and I am passionate about creating ventures which can drive economic development opportunities, provide substantial charitable donations, and bring about awareness to public health issues in those same communities.

Currently, I reside in the Northern, VA area with my husband and fellow Stanford alum, Chijioke Asomugha, and our three sons.
